If one could ask the fish, "How's the water?", the fish may well answer, "What water?". Language is our connection to everything, yet it's one of the most misunderstood tools of life. One's speaking and listening play an important role in determining the very quality of life itself. </p> <p> The course offers each participant the ability to: </p> <ul> <li>Create a new and empowering relationship with language. </li> <li>Discover new ways of being with others.</li> <li>Listen as an avenue for action rather than a passive event.</li> <li>Experience being in charge of their world and future.</li> <li>Translate intentions into coordinated action and results.</li> </ul> <p>Understanding the power of language begins with recognizing that there are two basic kinds of conversations: UNCOMMITTED and COMMITTED. The former involves everyday "chatter" that lacks an intended outcome. The latter involves the act of translating intention into coordinated action and desired results.</p> <p><b>One of our core curriculums</b></p> <p><b>This course is two days in length with follow up sessions designed to support real time successes.</b></p> <p><b>Can be used in conjunction with the other workshops by adding an additional day to the time frame.</b> </font></b></p>
